Lesley Newman-Stevas

Lesley graduated as a mature student with a fine art degree in 2010. Lesley now works predominantly in watercolour, taking inspiration from nature, including landscapes both urban and rural. She also draws and paints the nude from life, attending sessions at the Hampstead Life Drawing Group and the Working Men's College in Camden.

You can see paintings here, which are works that she did when she last visited Treviso, Italy in 2019.

Lesley is a member of Kew Gardens and during the recent "lockdowns" going to Kew Gardens was like a sanctuary for her, finding solace in wooded areas where she can sit and paint in silence.
